Spotlight on Telluride
Isolated, remote, shielded from Hollywood (at least as much as any festival can be these days), the esteemed Telluride Film Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary this year in the mountains of Colorado. The festival is a favorite of both audiences and filmmakers, many of whom travel from all over the world to attend and introduce their films. Often, movies that screen at Telluride are being shown to American audiences for the first time and the event routinely scores some of the most coveted world premieres.

Harlan: In the Shadow of Jew Süss
Though almost forgotten today, Veit Harlan was one of Nazi Germany’s most notorious filmmakers. Millions all across occupied Europe saw his films, the most perfidious of which was the treacherous anti-Semitic propaganda film JEW SÜSS, required viewing for all SS members. An...Watch Movie
