Spotlight on SXSW
South by Southwest will always hold a special place in team Fandor's heart - we launched there in 2010 and identify with the event's innovative nature and independent spirit. Held each March in Austin, TX, South by Southwest, or SXSW as it's affectionally called, celebrates the intersection of film, tech and music. Originally founded as a music event in 1987, the festival began showing films in 1994 and has since attracted visitors the world over with its eclectic mix of edgy fare, works by up-and-coming talent, mind-blowing docs and wild Midnight movies.
