If you’re like us, you’ve waited not-so-patiently for Ava DuVernay to do the opposite of ruin your childhood at the helm of her first big-budget blockbuster offering. (In fact, we should all take a minute to acknowledge that she is the first black woman to direct a live-action film with a production budget over $100 million.) It sure took Hollywood long enough: A Wrinkle in Time hits theaters in March 2018, so the wait isn’t over just yet, but the whole Internet is losing its mind over the latest trailer to drop since we first got a teaser back in July.

So what did we learn, besides that Levi Miller’s hair, regrettably, definitely isn’t red enough for his character Calvin O’Keefe?

Well, this new trailer gives us a lot more of Storm Reid as Meg Murray, as well as a heaping helping of Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which, played by Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, and Oprah Winfrey, respectively. We see Meg explaining the intricacies of the tesseract, traveling to unfamiliar dimensions in search of a lost and imprisoned Chris Pine, and answering the call to “be a warrior”— hey, if Oprah told you to do something, no matter what it was, wouldn’t you do it? We also get to see Witherspoon, Kaling, and Winfrey rock some serious avant-garde fashions while filling in some exposition around the larger themes of good vs. evil and darkness vs. light.

Despite the focus on femme-power in the trailer, we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out the cross-gender casting of Zach Galifianakis as the Happy Medium. We can only hope that his scenes read like a Disney version of Between Two Ferns! A Wrinkle in Time will be in theaters March 9, so mark your calendars and get ready to be swept away by DuVernay.
