I get to play with science, I get to ask questions. I was inspired to do that by someone in my youth, and that’s what I hope to do for future generations.
Dianna grew up loving math, but when she found out she could combine it with science to answer questions about the world, she was immediately hooked on physics. When it came time to select a college, she chose MIT. Then after graduation, as a post-graduate project, she started a science channel on YouTube—turning her desire to do science communication, to reach kids and get them excited about science. Now Dianna, the creator of Physics Girl, has a huge following and is sponsored by PBS.
