While most audiences stateside may only have become acquainted with Michel Hazanavicius when his movie, The Artist, took the 2012 Oscars by storm, taking home a total of five golden statues (including one for Hazanavicius, himself, for Best Director), the talented French director’s career has spanned an impressive three decades. If you haven’t seen the OSS 117 movies (watch right here on Fandor), do yourself a favor and see them. They are a wonderful sendup of James Bond and the spy genre. But for now, pull up a chair and hear about the man in his own words as we interview Michel Hazanavicius. And look for our review of his new film Godard Mon Amour coming Friday, April 20th.
