Since its release, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri has proven to be a divisive film. Critics and the Academy loved it. Moviegoers found it more…challenging. And some writers have thoughtfully argued how director Martin Mcdonagh treats the redemption story of one of the film’s major characters, Dixon, a racist cop (played by Sam Rockwell). This mix of acclaim and criticism makes the film intensely interesting to watch. And this criticism in no way detracts from the stellar performances by Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell. So if you’re as deeply fascinated by this movie as we are, here are six more great films to watch.
