Zazie dans le Métro1960
Sorry. This film is not currently available.
A brash and precocious ten-year-old comes to Paris for a whirlwind weekend with her rakish uncle; he and the viewer get more than they bargained for, however, in this anarchic comedy from Louis Malle, which rides roughshod over the City of Light. Based on a popular novel by Raymond Queneau that had been considered unadaptable, Malle's audacious ZAZIE DANS LE MÉTRO, made with flair on the cusp of the French New Wave, is a bit of stream-of-consciousness slapstick, wall-to-wall with visual gags, editing tricks and effects.

2 1/2 crazy dumb film_probably the silliest film i've ever seen_fun to see paris & the cars_Carla Marlier - Albertine is beautiful & Catherine Demongeot - Zazie is sweet & fun_none of it makes any sense at all_just a goofy ride
I love it... kept me crying laughing, until about halfway in when I started to get tired...
I watched it to see street scenes of Paris in the 60's. I didn't expect much of a plot, more of a Travelogue.
I must say I was disappointed. The color was excellent, but not enough street scenes. I got bored with the movie and did not see it to the end.
I enjoyed seeing Paris. The spirit of this film is wild.
A raucous good time
