I'd rather sift through week old garbage from a bad restaurant in a border town.
It's pretty hard to make a good art film about asshole rednecks (unless you're Harmony Korine), but nice try. 2.5 stars
It is a compelling montage of emotional imagery for sure. Though I managed to watch the film in its entireity, I'm at a loss of how to write a review on what I've just seen.
Feels genuine. Bold effort by the director not seen since the likes of Harmony Korine.
One of the worst films I have ever seen in my entire life! It was almost impossible to sit through the whole thing--- the director should NEVER attempt another to make another film again especially since he's obviously desperate to be seen as "different" and "avant-garde".
Too slow and boring!! Did not like this film!
