Growing up in LA in the 1980s, I played bass in an X cover band, and this film brought it all back. Love that vocal blend between John Doe and Exene. And Billy Zoom is the coolest cat who every picked up a guitar.
I am so glad to have seen X: The Unheard Music! I missed their show in Portland.Or. I did however see The Knitters and John Doe's solo show. After all these years I still have a crush on Excene!
clever footage of a great band. who the fuck where point blank and where are they now?
Exene, John, D.J., and Billy - it's X! What else do you need to know?
Loved this. One of my all time favorite bands.
The Best!
Fun snippet of time in the LA punk scene-the "real" Hollywood of the 80's
