I remember seeing this on TV when it came out. I was sixteen. It really had a positive effect on my teenage imagination. I even wrote a letter to the entertainment columnist for Parade magazine about it. Relearning about it has taken me back to that particular place and time and to that kid watching TV with his mom. It's beautiful how movies can do that. It's great to see it on Fandor.

I loved seeing Christopher Walken and Susan Sarandon together. Fun movie with a really terrific cast.
A wonderful adaption of one of my favorite short stories!
Love this film. so kind, witty and romantic.
A splendid film borne of a charming story, refreshingly poignant performances, and an obvious love for the stage.
Loved this film.
Casting for Christopher Walken and Susan Sarandon roles should have been thirty years younger. Too old for the roles. The hand held camera effect is 15 years ahead of its time.
Interesting to see Christopher Walken and Susan Saradon at the beginning of their long careers.
Charming short film.
Have always liked Walken and Sarandon. It was good to see them when their stars were rising. Didn't even know this movie existed.
love it!
