Filmed near Santa Monica, THE UNCHANGING SEA is a dramatic one-reeler starring a number of Griffith regulars (including the legendary Mary Pickford). Adapted from the poem "The Three Fishers" by Charles Kingsley.

A film to pull the heartstrings, based on Kingley's "The Three Fishers". Not one of Mary Pickford's better parts. She has an amazing range and subtlety for a silent film actor. Griffith's direction is simularly uninspired.
