This is my favorite piece of D.H. Lawrence's writing. It is amazing at setting a mood and building on it, with the poor boy being a victim of his gift, and his mother's needs for things, which haunts the house and, incomprehensibly, his thoughts. I am the wrong person to see this movie or to review it. If, by chance, you're like me, don't watch this film. Otherwise, feel free to ignore this short comment.
