The Only Way1970

  • 3.2
In April 1940, the armies of Nazi Germany invaded Denmark. The Danish government promised peaceful cooperation on the condition that Denmark’s Jews remain free. The Nazi’s agreed. In October, 1943, the agreement was broken. This is the true and magnificent saga of Denmark’s valorous actions to save Danish Jews from Nazi extermination at peril of death! For the Danes, this was THE ONLY WAY.

Another saga of racial discrimination, this time of the past, the blight of the Danish Jews. Well done. Well acted. I was disappointed by the dialogue being in English. However, it was done very well. A reminder of racism, brute force, and courage of some of us to save those who are incriminated for their religion, ancestry, etc.

What an absolutely wonderful movie. Also, seeing a very young Jane Seymour.

A lesson to all the world. Even Britain and the USA refused Jewish refugees from

Europe.

If every country had acted differently, the world would be different.

Even now 60 odd years later , the SS members have all still gone unpunished.See Thomas Harlan in Widipedia for one brave post war German that

tried to rectify what the world has still ignored.
