Someone has to tell the people who do subtitles that it is impossible to read thin, light type on a light background. This is Design 101 and it ruins the film....unwatchable...I do wonder if the film's director or producer ever see the finished product....shameful
This film was outstanding.
a beautiful & powerful film_a sad story about sorrow & loss but also about life & strength_the boy Khadji is great I got really annoyed with Hamilton about halfway through but as the film grew he did too_and it's a totally beautiful film great cinematography_sometimes ever so quiet so every breath is felt
Creative montage and artful flow. Powerful story with twists and turns.
Incredibly beautiful cinematography, that is often other-worldly, along with a very real story are what make this a great film to watch. So tragic a story True friendship never dies -- Jérémie Renier's Hamilton brings up all the nuances of the bond between the two Legionnaires, as well as the pain and struggle of living without -- without his other half.
at once simple and stunning. though clearly deliberate, some of the elipses and small leaps left me wanted more of the drama
