Movies are like 90 minute vacations for the mind and spirit. Some of them become favorite vacation spots...the summer beach house you return to every year. You re-visit them, experience with cinematic journey again and again.
Such is the case with Endless Summer. It is a film I have seen many times, from childhood through middle-age. I keep coming back to it,and hopefully always will. It captures the essence of surfing, the romance of the sport. It is an irreverent comedy-adventure energized by its youthful sense of wanderlust. Like "On The Road," it is a quintessential American classic.

This 1960's film by Bruce Brown is one of the best documentaries, if you're looking for doc films with awesome wipeouts and a hilarious narrative. I really enjoyed watching it.
