THE BRIDE AND THE BEAST is a supernatural drama of terror and scientific fiction. When Laura (Charlotte Austin) and Dan (Lance Fuller) get married, she appears to be more interested in Dan's gorilla. It's revealed through hypnosis that she was Queen of the Gorillas in a previous incarnation. The screenplay was co-written by Ed Wood the year before he made PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE!

'The Bride and the Beast' isn't as bad as Ed Wood's more infamous 'Plan 9 from Outer Space,' but it definitely still has Mr. Wood's signature schlock (even if he only co-wrote the script). The tiger is the best actor in this film; the leads are laughable, and the very unconvincing natives are cringe-worthy. Also, I don't think I've ever watched more stock footage in a single film. It felt like a secondhand nature documentary for a few scenes! It's enjoyable as a genuine Z-movie, but not much else. It's a good watch if you know what you're in for.

oh hoho!! Great cheesey little gem.

good movie
