I really enjoy the imagery in Stacey Steers' work. I also appreciate the dream-like quality that seems pervasive in her style. The tale of a difficult relationship is something I think most people can relate to and the topic lends itself well to stylistic interpretation.

Stacy Steers creates exquisite nightmares. There is a fragile beauty in the antiquated images Steers brings to life through the craft of animation. These images seem to strike deep in our collective psyche, spawning unsettling emotions of squirming discomfort. There is a horror that creeps beneath skin of these beautiful little images. “Phantom Canyon” is yet another great work from a truly gifted, visionary artist.
A dream, within a dream, within a stream (of consciousness).
Loved it
haunting and memorable
A work of art, or rather, many works of art. Visual poetry. A delightful ten minutes.
