Luis (né Louis) Martinetti, of French Canadian background (born in Montreal), had been part of an acrobatic team with his two brothers before launching out on his own. At about this time, he was associated with Charles E. Blaney's A BAGGAGE CHECK (for which he did an acrobatic dance).
