Interkosmos2006

In the 1970s, the East Germans had a secret plan to establish Communist colonies on the moons of Saturn and Jupiter. These fabricated details are the grist for writer/director Jim Finn's first feature, an exceptional mockumentary that chronicles the cosmonaut era from an alternate universe replete with musical numbers and faithful reconstructions of the rigors of space travel.

This is a droll and beautiful with a killer score. GDR astronauts Eagle and Falcon travel to the the giants of our solar system - Jupiter and Saturn - to to colonize their moons of in the name of International Communism. Love maybe happens. The Trolley Song happens. There is a rodent in space.

What a film! This is how to make an USSR spaceflight mockumentary. Just perfect.

I should have read the other reviews first. This is an hour of my life I'll never get back.

this must have been a labor of love for the creators. unfortunately, it is awful to watch.

Information balm.

interesting story line..myopic visuals ..music captivating..little character development..tip of the tongue realization of something not quite grasped..bitter sweet

Very slow pacing, nearly unwatchable.

I find this "film" an absolute waste of time..I'm at the half way point waiting for any point of interest or humour,so,maybe the next viewer can finish this review...
