What great memories of Ike and Tina. I saw them in the late 60's through mid 70's, small clubs to big venues. Always got a great show. This brought back her moves and style of the time. She had the moonwalk down way before Michael Jackson. Worth the time to watch. Felt a little cheated with that second worth of Joe Cocker singing with her but, oh well.

A raw candid, behind the scenes window into early '70s ROCK & SOUL History, IKE & TINA were and still are a cultural institution. A testament to IKE'S driving energy, and an illustration of TINA'S unstoppable Female Force. The LIVE shows are going to rock you to the bone, they are explosive! ON THE ROAD 1971-72. Classic.

If you're not in love with Tina Turner now, you will be after this raw home video as a documentary. Even over-dubbed VHS tapes couldn't dull the beautiful love of life & performance that shivers up & down those (still) amazing sexy legs of hers -wow. The other girls, too -wow. They were the first rock 'n roll soul workout video and didn't even know it. I'll be the"raggedy-man" to her "pair" anytime. -Biggo

poorly done

Not much of a documentary, just cinema verite footage of Ike and Tina. It's still worth seeing because of the concert footage of them at their early 70s peak, no matter how poorly filmed, although there's plenty of them to be found on youtube. Interesting that except for the opening and closing bits, there's no sense of The Turners as a married couple.

love it

GR8!
