A lovely, dreamlike short film on Buddy Holly and the filmmaker's hometown of Lubbock. The visuals were understated but very moving and the creative narration really just made this meandering piece work. Evocative without insisting on a neat linear narrative or conclusion, it lets the viewer wander on her own and create her own meaning. Exactly what a good short should do.

I am an old dude, age 68.... , from Boston, and since age 24, til now...in S.F.
Jack Kennedy and Buddy Holly are my two heroes...
Therefore, Hub City was attractive to me. It is a GREAT
"tone poem"..
