Homage to Eadweard Muybridge1965

  • 3.3
A brief tribute to the "father of the motion picture," HOMAGE TO EADWEARD MUYBRIDGE compiles images from eleven motion studies made by Eadweard Muybridge in the 1880s, scientific endeavors that pioneered serial photography and projection before the official birth of cinema itself. The images collected here are all of female nudes, a subject their photographer evidently hadn't soured on despite his travails of the prior decade (when he'd shot to death his wife's suspected lover). While he was acquitted of murder, his spouse sued for divorce (falling fatally ill soon after it was granted) and the son Muybridge believed (perhaps mistakenly) fathered by his gunshot victim got hustled off to an orphanage. - Dennis Harvey

Not much point to this. Terrible quality. Go look at Muybridge's work instead.
