Watch this example of understated Canadian comic genius. Especially great for music buffs: the social isolation of listening to jazz, heavy metal and Satan (playing bingo, no less), a cameo by Jello Biafra as a customs agent, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and a corpse stuffed with dope. It's full of brilliant lines for drifting down life's lonesome road. Drop a reference; if someone catches it, you're in good company. The movie is so cool that if you haven't already seen it at least twice, I can't believe we're even talking.

I had such fond memories of Bruce McDonald's 1991 film. It was one of the first movie's I saw after I graduated from university. When I saw it pop up on Fandor I was so excited. Unfortunately, my young adult memory does not hold up 25 years later. Don McKellar is the only aspect of this film that manages to stand the test of time. The rest of the film is ambitious but never takes off. I wish I had left it in my memory.

I never get tired of watching this clever and funny film.

I liked it!!What people will do for money, even the Devil!!
