I panned by this movie so man times because the picture is so disturbing. Once I started into the intro, I was hooked. It was really a great deal of fun, but also deadly serious. The acting was great, especially Bill. These characters really stayed with me. They are terribly real. The only thing I didn't buy was the couple with Cancer. As a doctor who has taken care of many people in this situation, people aren't anywhere near this upbeat. I have never known someone just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer who can eat anything. A sweet movie. I think it hold up well. Put up a different still shot, please. It doesn't do justice to the film.

This is a sweet, kind of quirky, film about six lonely people and how they interact with each other. It is well acted, well directed, with an unpredictable ending. I loved it. But don't listen to me. Check out the professional reviews on Rotten Tomatoes where most of the film critics liked it also.

Interesting

Beautiful movie. I could relate to all the characters. Well acted, well directed.

BEAUTIFUL

what relationship grow from new ones and what we find when we pursue happiness and human love and risk the miracles unfold in our story.

We all begin and end in loneliness, or do we? How often are we touching someone that could desire more about themselves? Can we make a promise that extends through until death? I thought that the characters in the film wouldn't extend themselves farther than the revulsion they felt towards each others honesty, and then, there's forgiveness, acceptance, and togetherness. Unlikely, no, not really. In fact, this film felt more real because they processed past their fears, in very human and mistaken ways. Touching perspective, and an awareness of the setting in the cinematographical whimsy. I could tell there's a comedian in all of us.
