This is a by-the-numbers "oater" (love that term!) that is still very enjoyable. Clocking in at just over an hour, there isn't a lot of fat to the story. Cisco and Pancho plow ahead, learning all about the robberies that are being wrongly attributed to "Mexican bandits" and then putting together an overly complex plan to catch the real crooks.
Since this is a B-Western, that means that there a lots of Hollywood character actors on board. Each of them probably made three or four other westerns the same week as this one. Eagle-eyed — or is it sharp-eared? — viewers will notice that one of the men on the held up stagecoach is Dick Elliott, who is the Bedford Falls resident who tells Jimmy Stewart to kiss Donna Reed instead of talking her to death.
This is a good Saturday afternoon movie with lots of jokes and action.

If you enjoyed Saturday morning adventure movies, the Cisco Kid (stories by O. Henry) you will love this film, I did. Good guys, bad guys, cowboys, gun fights, and horse riding chases are all in this film.
