More of a series of tableaus than a narrative ut what can you expect with two minutes to tell Faust. Watch for the cast looking at the camera to see if the take is over. Early days.

Speed Classics! Kind of like Speed Dating...not at all like the real thing...but still its Alice Guy, there is a vague story here and the viewer may be (hopefully) educated to know the Faustian tale before viewing.

Faust in 2 minutes. It's incomprehensible, but it's only 2 minutes!

Lots of stop-action to the point that it kind of becomes too much of a gimmickand it becomes very difficult to even understand any sort of narrative.

I guess you could think of it as absurdist, but there's still enough of a story that their trying to tell that it becomes too distracting for that either.
