What makes this film worth watching?

*I do not know the intent of the filmmaker = reviews are typically nothing but opinion and speculation. This one is no different.*
It's maybe hard to catch this when watching it - but there are more than just two people in the film, and not more than one seems to be present at any given time. This is no real embrace - this is an embrace of the imagination - flickering in and out of sight so fast it's like a dream - one whose details you don't remember totally upon waking.
The strobe effect is intense - so take the seizure warning they show in the beginning seriously - but it's a beautiful pain - just like that emotion the film is titled after.

Interesting how it is titled Envy, and not Kiss, or Embrace. An animated still life with interesting play on a human gesture of desire. We don't know if it's real, a dream, if it gets satisfied ... but it stays lit in this visual.

simple and lovely!
color is great!
WOW = COOL 5 MINUTES FILM DREAMS.
observation becomes an embed.
Interesting idea. I liked the colors. Seemed like an experiment for use in another project.
couldn't really watch it, so don't count this rating.
Sweet Idea? Uhhh no, more like a youtube smash hit.
I find it absolutely terrible.
The music is great. Film? not so much. Interesting idea, but it's like being forced to watch/listen to a loud and annoying ringing telephone that just doesn't end (but you stick with the film in hopes of some redemption).
Watched a minute - didn't get it.
An interesting idea and well done, just wish it could have explored a little more. Felt I saw everything I needed to after 3 minutes.
My eyes felt tired after watching this.
