Casually realistic and consistently offering a weary sense of humor in an attempt to hide the painful rage constantly simmering beneath the surface -- this is a potent film. Filmed on a shoe-string budget, Theodore Collatos smartly shoots this movie as if it were a documentary. As the main character attempts to "re-boot" his life the challenges of family, friends and addiction seem poised to refuse a "re-start."
Matthew Shaw delivers a surprisingly powerful performance. I write "surprisingly" because it takes a little while before his work synthesizes with the movie. This isn't a mistake. This is clever film acting and filmmaking.
Quiet and never dramatic, this is a film about an American Tragedy. This film is less about a stupid person than it is the study of a person who seems to be set up for failure.

Good movie with a great message. The sensibility of the characters doesn't relate to most people with a good head on their shoulders but it is reality of some people of this world. The sufferance is within the cycle itself.
