Rock n Roll ain’t pretty. Behind a thin curtain of glittering fairy dust, there are boling cauldrons of chaos, ego, excess, and madness. That’s what makes “DIG!” a perfect Rock n Roll documentary. It captures the physical manifestations of these Rock n Roll toxins and bottles them up in a story that plays like a slow-motion car wreck: you cringe but you can’t take your eyes off of what’s happening on screen. Two great bands; one great film. Watch!

taking a chance here : please do NOT consider finished until I add the word FINIS ( at the END [ followed by a point. and zero words ] ) !

Outset of flick : excellent ! has me believing that they ARE probably concocting a brewage so powerful, they WILL CONQUER the world - no ifs, buts or whatevers.../ 2nd take : some stage presence ( awesome at first, predictably zany-chaotic later )...YOU SEE the dream start 2 unravel / the improbability of it all...after so many climbs to conquer Everest, peep forget its all in the oxygen-deprivation that the real test forms.../ ok so...

take 3 / anton-fuckball-mirror-of-me; what a hairball o' impossibility ! what a comet-vega-dying-big-bang=bung-dang=puff ! ( the ghosts of some Beatles sing " LET IT BE ! " in an imperious thundering voice which a voice-trometer verifies as Adolf's H very own ! Putang ! K-O! / drastic...unbearable.../

New Year's Eve Party in Oregon. enough ! anton must go to the cuckoo's nest for a spell. got 2 take another break. the problem w/ movies ( or maybe just me ) too frigging long ! when Marshall McLuhan bespoke of the electric age already upon us, he used images. He said : ' Befur, if u wanted to light a room, u lit candles, of different sizes, widths, lengths in strange and unpredictable ways to get the desired effect. Now, you walk into an airplane hangar all gloomy black, throw ONE switch, and a billion-gazillion spotlights illumine so the place, u have to turn away the gaze.'

So, in my opinion, the oversaturation point has been reached within digitalism. Apps, tablets and pcs male it unpalatable to store so much freaking electricity within our tiny, yet superior psyches ( superior, of course, to the machine ) I'll get back to the flick ( whenever...) ta, ta. I do think a whole film would have been great with only the first 15 minutes. THAT's ALLLLLLL ! FINIS.
