In a matter of minutes, Caveh Zahedi shows a poignant portrait of a moment in time of D.'s life. At the start we feel like we are in a loop, distorting time for us. And then the experience feels all too quick by the end. It's not the whole story of the person, but we get a small haiku-like sketch, and this brief vignette truly is an emotional experience.

Devastating but brilliant. Best use of answering machine messages ever.
