Terrific movie with great relevance to today, as self-proclaimed empires once again stalk the earth.
The movie is based on Frantz Fanon's '60's book "The Wretched of the Earth" and also mentions "Black Skin, White Mask." One book focuses on colonialism and the other on race. After watching the movie I found both books in public domain ebook editions on-line from The Internet Archive. The movie is very faithful to the books. While reading the forwards and prefaces I realized what a good movie this is.

Astounding footage brilliantly put together. Powerful, pulling no punches. Fanon on screen. Just a great film.
Points to the abject failure of its intention
