Don't trust anyone in this British Philatelist murder-mystery. Pay close attention. The plot is not dumbed-down for a juvenile audience (like most films today). The story is fairly complicated and involved and there are multiple characters that shouldn't be trusted. Have no fear, all your questions will be answered before the credits roll.
If Tom Conway's voice sounds familiar to you, perhaps that is because he is the brother of the well-known British actor George Sanders. Tom has the same weakness for pretty girls as his more successful sibling. Michael Balfour does a nice job as the obtuse but lovable side-kick Barney.
A good story and believable acting. They didn't just mail this one in.

Standard private detective movie. Interesting story line. Enjoyable, but nothing special. Saw on IMDB that Tom Conway was George Sanders' brother and they were born in Russia.
Not great, but enjoyable enough and diverting.
