Life can get complicated when you don't know English, as a German visitor to New York City discovers in this film. Another C. Jay Williams comedy that is delightfully acted and as well staged. The director's wife plays the female lead.

Well done for it's time... I find the scenes of life back during that time much more interesting than the subject of the movie. Fun to watch. It's history you cant learn from a book.

I think anyone who has tried to use public transportation in a nation where you don't speak the language has experienced something not too crazily dissimilar from this pleasant little adventure of a German speaker trying to use New York streetcars. Highly entertaining little one-reeler.

Loved it! Very interesting, to see everyday folks on the street, and in the clothing store. Lot's of detail can be gleaned.
