The only thing that made me say "Wow" in this whole thing was that Alan Vega apparently loves Everybody Loves Raymond.
Useless fluff.
Has relevance since the Suicide songs chosen as background should be heard. Seems like an aborted project given the run time and the lack of coherent narrative. Part cautionary tale about the NYC scenester life, and yet also the resilience of family life. Overall, probably a truer documentary given it's raw unvarnished semi portrait.
The mighty Alan Vega is....an old man. He's a charming, frail, sweet, cranky one though. And this short documentary shows all sides of this legend.
