When Norwegian scientist Marie attends a seminar in Paris on the actual weight of a kilo, it is her own measurement of disappointment, grief and, not least, love, that ends up on the scale. Finally Marie is forced to come to terms with how much a human life truly weighs and which measurements she intends to live by.

Not very deep really, although I think it wants to be. Still it is easy to watch with good acting and pretty scenery. It ends too predictably. fluffy.

An interesting little film that precedes quietly and takes its time but still has a lot of emotion behind it especially Ane Dahl Torp who has several scenes where she conveys so much emotion over the loss of her father.

truly remarkable.

This film isn't for everyone but I really enjoyed it. I like these quiet character studies.

This is a lovely, gentle, small film. A welcome relief from Hollywood bombast!

Interesting. Good proverbs and citations of some writers. I enjoyed it most of the time, nice to know how the Norwegians live.
