Tara Autovino

A recipient of New York University’s prestigious Dean’s Fellowship, Tara completed her MFA in film production in 2010. A filmmaker, musician, and dancer, she has traveled to Sundance and SXSW with her short film, For A Swim With the Fish; to SXSW to perform with the renowned musician and artist, Daniel Johnston; and to the 2012 Whitney Biennial with The Stanley Love Performance Group, dancing in a multi-day performance for video artist Charles Atlas. Her 7-year documentary feature undertaking, Ultimate Christian Wrestling, won the Grand Jury Prize and the Programmer’s Award at the New Orleans Film Festival in 2012. 
 
Tara works as an editor, motion graphics artist, sound designer, and musician, and is currently working on a film/music collaboration - Guiding Light - with musicians across the country.
