Deborah Attoinese

Deborah Attoinese is an accomplished director, producer and writer.

Originally from New York, Deborah began her career as a self-taught fashion photographer. Her signature work has appeared in the pages of Conde Nast Publications, The Sunday New York Times, Harper's Bazaar Magazine and Details Magazine. Her advertising clients have included Izod Lacoste, Marshall Fields, Martha & Francois Girbaud, James Galanos, Valentino and Stagelight Cosmetics.

Her most recent film, On Directing, a full length documentary featuring filmmakers Bille August, Roland Joffe, Agnes Varda and Wim Wenders has just been released and her whimsical short film Snail, starring Brendan Hunt (We're The Millers) and Yvonne Zima (The Long Kiss Goodnight) premiered at the 2014 Palm Springs Shortfest this June.

Zoe, Deborah's first feature film, was a festival favorite, screening throughout the USA and abroad and is available on NetFlix. She is currently at work on her second feature film, Always Safe, and her sixth short film, Girl Knight. Her film work has been shown on both CineMax and ShowTime. She has worked with Hollywood Pictures, Tri-Star Picutres, Curb Entertainment and Bill Kenwright Productions. Her corporate clients have included Delta Airlines, Art TV, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Costco, among others.

Passionate about world and environmental issues, Deborah donates her filmmaking skills to several causes including THE PEACE PROJECT Los Angeles, which she received a 2012 Inspiration Award.
