Susan Marks
Susan Marks is an American author and independent filmmaker stationed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Marks wrote Finding Betty Crocker: The Secret Life of American’s First Lady of Food about advertising icon Betty Crocker, and created the historical documentary film The Betty Mystique about Betty Crocker as well. Marks authored two other books: Stuck on You: The Indispensable History of Band-Aid Brand Bandages and Historic Photos of Minnesota. Her next independent documentary film, Of Dolls and Murder (currently in post-production) is about doll house crime scenes and society's collective fascination with murder. The film features narration by John Waters.
