Roy Boulter

Roy Boulter (born 2 July 1964, Liverpool) was the drummer in the Liverpool based pop group The Farm. He joined the band a replacement for Andy McVann, who died in a car crash on 1 October 1986. Boulter went on to write for Channel 4 soap operas, Brookside and Hollyoaks, and later for Jimmy McGovern's television drama series, The Street. He is a co-director of Hurricane Films, and produced the BAFTA nominated Terence Davies documentary Of Time and the City and the feature film Under the Mud. He also writes for the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Boulter supports Liverpool F.C..
