John Boyega
John Boyega is a British-Nigerian actor best known for portraying the lead role in the 2011 science fiction film Attack the Block. In September 2011, HBO announced that Boyega has been cast in the Spike Lee/Doug Ellin/Mike Tyson boxing drama pilot, Da Brick, which is loosely based on Tyson's life. The plot will focus around Donnie (Boyega), who is released from a juvenile detention centre on his 18th birthday and begins to examine what it means to be a man. The pilot has been scripted by John Ridley. The pilot has since been passed upon by HBO.
