Dick Sutherland

Dick Sutherland (December 23, 1881 – February 3, 1934) was an American film actor of the silent era. He appeared in 76 films between 1921 and 1932. His crude threatening looking features were a result of acromegaly. This visage led him to be cast as a menace from one silent film to another be it comedy, drama, adventure, romance etc. He was born in Benton, Kentucky, and died in Hollywood, California from a heart attack.
