Faust

You're quite correct, of course! The initial description was provided by the Thanhouser Company but we have tweaked their text to eliminate the error, accordingly.

THE TREE is a French co-production with Germany, Italy and Australia (and filmed in English in the latter country). The director and principle protagonist are French.

Telluride co-founder/co-director Tom Luddy recommended SLEEP FURIOUSLY a few years ago (shortly after the documentary had its North American premiere at the festival). He figured that it was exactly the sort of picture I would appreciate. He figured correctly, as usual! SLEEP FURIOUSLY is an extraordinary and thoroughly commendable film.

The one-and-only Jonathan Winters takes what would otherwise be a relatively tiresome sales film and transforms it into an immensely droll lark full of double entendres. Absolutely worth a quarter-hour of your time.

It

Short of reading the Pierre Souvestre and Marcel Allain novels, this is an exceptional place to begin your immersion in the remarkable world of master criminal Fantomas. Louis Feuillade is perhaps better known for a handful of other films (particularly LES VAMPIRES, JUDEX and TIH MINH) but this series acutely illustrates the formative traits of his later successes. Start here and you'll likely be compelled to immediately watch the other four!
