Prolific Hong Kong director/producer Johnnie To's contemporary riff on TROUBLE IN PARADISE.

The third time is indeed the charm for pop superstar Andy Lau (HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS), pop diva Sammi Cheng and award-winning director Johnnie To (RUNNING ON KARMA), as they reunite once again after NEEDING YOU and LOVE ON A DIET for this seductive caper shot on locations around the world. Socialite and businesswoman Mrs. Do (Cheng) suspects that her millionaire ex-husband (Lau) is the man behind the heist of her new lover's family jewels. She is determined to use all means to prevent him from sabotaging her new marriage and to get him to confess his crime. YESTERDAY ONCE MORE is an acting tour-de-force for both Lau and Cheng with an unforgettable surprise ending.

Entertaining, well produced and directed movie with a fluffy, twisted and unresolved story. The main actors' charms make it interesting, and the Honk Kong locations, luxury settings, etc, help. The story is not dramatic enough to recommend it as a good movie
