Simplistic story line. How could parents be that oblivious to such an obviously troubled boy?

There is such a thing as trying too hard to make great art. This film contrasts children and death for maximum effect but misses the emotional mark. This made me the Saddest Filmgoer in the World. Other Travis shorts are much better.
