Can't really say I enjoyed this clip. The way she handled the real babies gave me the creeps, but it makes a statement for the times, I suppose. Poor babies.

One of the early attempts to create an actual story as opposed to simply filming real lives. A cute idea, but seeing those babies handled like props is a little disturbing.

Very sweet, but I do feel bad for those poor babies. They were probably so cold!

This reminds me of those dolls my sister had as a kid and of those books by Anne Geddes. My favorite part is that the fairy is tossing obviously very young babies on the ground and dancing around them. Oh how times have changed! I guess I didn’t realize where babies came from, but I always pictured a much kinder and gentler stork.
