When police find a dead body with the words "lousy actor" written on the corpse, they send beat cop/aspiring actor Chan (Jim Shim) to acting school in order to get clues to the murder. Chan's overacting antics, however, annoy almost all of his classmates except Dani (Charlene Choi from the pop duo Twins), an adult film actress wannabe. Co-starring the great Anthony Wong, SIMPLY ACTORS is a tongue-in-cheek parody on pretentious actors and everybody's dream of becoming somebody.
