Buster Keaton had married Natalie Talmadge (younger sister of screen actress Norma Talmadge, the wife of Keaton's producer Joseph M. Schenck) on May 31, 1921. His matriarchal in-laws become the fodder for this minor comedy.

This is one of my favorite Buster Keaton's short movies. The movie itself is great. However, do NOT listen to it. There are these annoying sounds and whistles. They're unbearable and an insult to Keaton's work. Have it on mute or play your own music, then enjoy!
