The opening shot echoes the Georges Méliès classic A TRIP TO THE MOON. But, in the case of this Fleischer Studios cartoon, the moon-bound rocket is the “Honeymoon Express.” A zoologically diverse assortment of newlyweds dance their way to a space vacation (except Mr. Cat is left playing solitaire when he can’t pull his sweetheart aboard in time).

Always love to watch the Fleischer cartoons - so charming and always good for moments of the unexpected,

Cute and Quirky! Just the way Fleischer liked his toons.
