BAD BLOOD is one of the most hauntingly dramatic depictions of a real-life human tragedy ever made. Set in New Zealand in 1938, BAD BLOOD tells the story of Stanley Graham and his wife Dorothy. They're outcasts in the small village community because of their rude, antisocial behavior and their accumulation of financial problems slowly drives them to the brink of insanity. Stanley nearly has to go to prison for refusing to turn in his rifles and the woeful regards of the townsfolk become more and more hostile when the Grahams accuse them of poisoning their cattle. October 8, 1941, Graham started a killing spree that took the lives of seven men, sparking one of the most bizarre manhunts in history. With the help of more than 100 police and army personnel, the search for Graham lasted for twelve days (with orders to shoot-on-sight if they found Graham still armed).
