A harrowing exploration of the rapid rise of American religious fanaticism after 9/11. This film explores an emerging ultra Right Wing mass movement seeking dominion over all aspects of contemporary American society. The film weaves archival video, contemporary Christian Nationalist movement propaganda (recruiting videos, apocalyptic/military videogame imagery, etc.) and original investigative material to create an intense examination of the totalistic mindset and its will to power.

Great movie... Hopefully the influence of these right-wing Christian fanatics is on the decline!
hoping to never have "A VERY BAD DAY" expertly done eschewing the typical talking head model instead painting a bold expressionistic portrait of fundamental madness
Very strong. Keeps commentary to a minimum, and pretty much just lets these people hang themselves with their own rhetorical rope. Their power is fading, and it shows. What is frightening is that they know it's fading, and seem willing to do whatever they must to stop it. Good flick, in any case. Studiously avoids cheesy narration, and just lets the tapes roll.
Scary. Very Scary. Every thinking American needs to see this before the 2012 election to know what we are up against.
